Women's Day, Cape Town South Africa, Artscape Theatre 2016
Sylvie Groschatau is invited to participate in the Women's Day / Women's Day at the Artscape Theatre in Cape of Good Hope with the Women Works In Progress Group (WWIP) and a film that illustrates the struggle of women under apartheid and presents works women artists today that deal with identity and transgender.
A film show with archives and artists images to memorialize women’s march of august 1956 and Women’s day 2016 with inspirational quotes from south african sheroes and inspirational artworks by women of cape town today who approach issues such as Transformation Transgender and Identity.

Syl’Batik / La Boutique "Colis suspect "
The shop, which offers an assortment of confections Syl'Batik will be as an "installation" with large pieces of batik, and jewelery by designer Frida Hulten.

We are seeking the local color and we will include, for example, the heads (life size) of Kudu and Rhino beads created by Cape Town artist in hunting trophies style - beautiful and powerful as they take the message of colis suspect.
The works created by Syl’Batik (Sylvie Groschatau - sylbatik.wordpress) and Frida Hulten (www.fridahulten.com) of the association 1 2 3 Les Timides will be avalaible for sale.

The Syl'boutique from 9:00 becomes Deco / installation mode and shares, in collaboration with Diazzo ((www.diazzo.fr) films about artists from Cape to honor local talents and illustrate Cape Town vibrant life.

We realized with DIAZZO an animated short film where a Batik is created as a live performance (with camera and GoPro) , and a series of short on Cape Town will be shown.

CREATION & EXHIBITION "ça collectif en liberté !" - 1 mai to 31 june 2016
About twenty artists present the fruit of their imagination and inevitably their work. Tian minimalist painter works associated with the fervor welding Anna Mano and musical compositions bassist Mathias Imbert, offers "Colis Suspect" on tour until the end of the month, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The site was visited by dozens of classes in primary and secondary. "Our greatest reward is to see children come back with their parents," admits Tian. An anonymous hand noted in the visitors book : "An Aladdin's cave full of emotions!".
